Privacy
This policy explains what information Sinewa Research collects when you visit sinewaresearch.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. Sinewa Research is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Josh Lemaitre. Questions can be sent to josh@sinewaresearch.com.
Information We Collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
- Basic site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It reports aggregate information such as pages viewed, referring site, browser, device type, and country. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across other sites.
- Client portal sign-in status. Pages on this site check with our client portal (research.sinewaresearch.com) whether you are signed in, so the navigation can show "Client Login" or "Client Portal". If you are not a client, no account information exists for you and nothing is stored.
- Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address, when a page loads.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.
- We do not run advertising or marketing trackers on this site.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Service Providers
We rely on Cloudflare (analytics and content delivery), Amazon Web Services (site hosting), and Google (fonts) to operate this site. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
Client Portal
Signing in to the client portal sets a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Information handled within the portal is subject to any agreement between you and Sinewa Research.
Your Privacy Choices
Because this site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, there is no cookie banner or preference center to manage. You can still:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing josh@sinewaresearch.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Block analytics by using a browser or extension that blocks Cloudflare Web Analytics, or by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control setting. We do not sell or share personal information, so these signals do not change how we treat your data.
- Clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. The public pages work without them.
Retention And Security
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and for ordinary business records, and delete it on request where we are able to. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes To This Policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
